Maidstone Invicta u3a

Welcome to Maidstone Invicta u3a’s website (miu3a) where we hope you’ll find all you need to know about us.

Our u3a offers the opportunity for people who are no longer in full time employment and live in the Maidstone area to participate in a range of enjoyable social, mental and physical activities.  We have members from a wide range of backgrounds and no qualifications are required to join us, just a desire to learn new things, meet new people, keep the brain and body active and, most importantly, to have fun.  The u3a motto is “Learn, Laugh, Live”.

We currently have over 240 members who are able to take part in more than 35 special interest groups which meet either weekly, fortnightly or monthly.  Details of these groups can be found on the Groups Page.

Our monthly meetings with a guest speaker take place at Beechwood Hall, Barming. (See our Meetings and Events page for a full list of upcoming speakers). These meetings are held on the third Monday of the month, starting at 2pm. There is a FREE P&R service to Maidstone Hospital which will drop you close to the hall. Details are on the Meetings and Events page.

We offer a warm welcome to new members and further information can be found on our Membership Page.
