There are now two Village Visits groups in our u3a (Groups 2 and 3).
Each group makes monthly visits to Kent Villages and other places of interest to learn about the history of the village and other buildings of interest, where relevant starting in the church.
Lunch will be taken in the village wherever possible or at a nearby venue.

The groups will usually meet in the village car park, however a meeting point will be advised in advance of the visit. Some walking will be involved and full details are provided in order that members can decide if the visit is suitable for them.
On occasion, it is necessary to engage the services of a third party and this may incur a nominal payment, which will always be advised beforehand. Each member of the group is encouraged to organise a visit just once a year.
