Mahjong is a game for 3 or 4 players, usually played by 4 separate individuals. Players have a special routine for choosing who will break the "Great Wall of China" and then play begins with players picking 13 tiles from the wall. The objective of the game is to obtain a complete set of 4 defined groups of three tiles (Pungs) or four tiles (Kongs) and one pair (14 tiles) in order to go "Mahjong"

We are currently a small group of players, some of whom have been playing for just a year and others who have more recently joined. We are still grappling with the rules of the game but as time goes on we hope to welcome new members, both those new to the game and more experienced players.
