Kim White - Gypsy and Traveller Culture and Customs.

Kim White OBE will be giving us a talk on the Gypsy and Traveller Culture. Kim became a full-fledged police officer in 1977. Her ambition was to join the CID. Kent Police were the first force in England to introduce Intelligence Led Policing and she was tasked with recruiting informers. She worked with the Gypsy Traveller Liaison Team and learned a lot about gypsy culture. Kim spent 30 years in the service and ended up with an OBE for her work.
