Jane Scotchmer - How Artists and Garden Designers lead us up the Garden Path.

Focusing on the role of the path, this talk is an entertaining and creative fusion of painterly and horticultural principles of design.

In a well-conceived landscape painting, the artist will use the path to direct the eye around and/or through the painting. Similarly in a well-planned garden, the path will help the visitor explore the garden visually and on foot.
