Brian Cookson - Greenwich, where time began.

Brian's talk takes us around Greenwich to learn about his history and architecture. We start with Canaletto's famous view of the Royal Naval Hospital (RNH), then see the Cute Sark before further exploration of Wren's iconic RNH architecture. We end at the Royal Observatory with the Meridian Line. This talk covers the history of Greenwich from Viking raiders to the millennium as well as talking about the architecture and some art.
